Steel can be easily molded and formed when it is above the recrystallization temperature, and it can also be produced in considerably greater sizes. Hot rolled steel is produced by heating a piece of metal past its melting point, while cold rolled steel is produced by cooling it after it has been formed into a shape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cold formed rectangular hollow section<\/strong> is often used in tool-making because they can be made quickly and easily, without having to heat or cool them between each step of the process.
